Tried a brake switch (had none) still no go. Have constant exclamation red light and no hour meter, just a circle. Tried FNR switch, no good, still had a P22 code and goes int neutral
Then checked connections at ECM, they looked good. Sprayed them with contact cleaner, then re tried. Now it runs without going into neutral, shows exclamation red light, no hour meter or code, but does not go into neutral even if deadman is open. Now, nothing stops it when in drive, no codes show. get off the seat, deadman light on but truck still stays in drive. Now it's driveable but unsafe! Want to swap the ECM but is it safe to swap without identity switching to the other truck? And how expensive is the ECM if it needs it? Still a ways to go...
