(that day & time difference thing ya' know)
That reminded me of something that happened years ago at work.
Our shop supervisors worked shifts that prevented the night crew from watching any televised games that aired during U.S. "prime time" hours.
So one of our night supervisors had set his VCR to record a game that his favorite team was a contender in.
When his shift ended the next morning he was looking forward to getting home and having a beer while watching the recorded game.
He made the mistake of revealing his intentions to the day shift supervisor coming in to relieve him, to which the incoming supervisor promptly remarked "Detroit won" (not the night supervisor's team).
The night supervisor gave the day shift supervisor "a cussin') that I'm sure he remembers to this day.
Kinda like somebody sees you reading a mystery novel and blurts out the ending.
