First thing i would do is back off the adjustment for the emergency brake as far as it will go,as for the shoe adjustment might have to get creative and use two screwdrivers one to hold the adjustment arm out of the way while you back off the star adjuster wheel to loosen up the shoes,this is done either thru the back of the backing plate or thru the front of the drum if it is accessed this way,i dont know how it is exactly on this truck and every truck is diffrent
