O.K., Got this starting probelm with my 1950's Clark model c40mb-193-782 wondering if someone can help. Details are such.

Try to start and clicking noise from starter, keep trying and after several tries it might catch. I assume solenoid or starter motor problem. Took starter out. What is the appropriate move from here? Rebuild this starter including new solenoid? or buy aftermarket starter? Is there a starter rebuild kit with bushings, bearings, solenoid and where would I find parts? What do you think and thanks for the advice.

Fact of the week
Funerals in Spain typically occur within 24 to 48 hours of death, whereas in other European countries they wait one or more weeks. This rapid timeframe is a cultural norm grown from the past need to manage the warm climate without modern embalming.
