Battery powered electric cars are pretty much useless for most people due to range issuse.

Hydrogen fuel cell is the way forward.

Battery technology needs to get a lot better before electric cars become worth thinking about.

According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
