Anybody had problems with steering on this model?
Customer has truck that looses steering intermittently.
Can be driving along and all of a sudden truck will vear off line.
If you operate steering you can occasionally replicate fault, steering wheel turns but wheels stay still.
I have swapped steer angle sensor, danfoss valve and hydraulic pump (one at a time) from second truck, set up steering and put back to work.
same truck always fails no matter what parts I swap (only wiring harness left to swap!!)
I have stripped steer cylinder & checked seals, all looks ok
I have spoken to Komatsu in Immingham but was told they had never had problems with steering apart from wiring torn from steer angle sensor.
problem has been ongoing for a few weeks now and customer is asking questions.
any ideas out there?
