Does anyone know of safety regs (OSHA/ANSI) that would prohibit modifying a truck mounted forklift with a remote starter so that the forklift might be raised and lowered onto the back of the truck thus allowing the operator to mount or dismout the forklift from the truck without the operator having to climb aboard (or off - in the case of re-mounting the forklift)? The modification would, of course, be with the manufacturer's permission.

The black box flight recorder was invented by Australian scientist David Warren in the mid-1950s. While initially met with indifference in Australia, his invention gained international recognition, particularly in the UK, and is now a mandatory piece of safety equipment on all commercial aircraft.
