Hi there- Was about to recommend the use of a Combilift for your environement- especially if you are lifting long loads.

One of the main issues with a conventional forklift or telehandler is that the point of contact on a long load is invariably only 1 meter in the middle - think of a seesaw and you can immagine the effect of central support is on a load of over 6meters! - makes for a very slow carefull operation unless you have a stabiliser attachment or frame.

These stabilisers obviously weigh a considerable amount to support the load and this weight needs to be deducted from the truck capacity to give a rated load.

The combilift- sideloader has good all terraine operation and the method of reaching the load onto a stable platform provides significant support and inherent safety.

There are other makes available that have copied the concept of the Combilift - being a dedicated sideloader, with reach truck capability. This is not to be confused with a conventional sideloader and is very menouverable.

I'm sure there is a local dealer who would be pleased to demonstrate the ability - or look on their web site, I believe they have some demo video material online
