Hello Andrew, May I ask which part of Jamaica you are in?
I doubt the model number for the Hyster is correct. Hyster usually names their models h60** (Pneumatic tire 6000lb capacity, if a USA model, would be a h2.7 [or so] if sold in a country that uses the metric weights) or S60** if a cushion tire, the ** equal some series ID like xm.
What is "ideal" may not be the same for everyone, since "ideal" also takes into account the cost, which in your case can include some pretty steep shipping and customs duties.
Finding the ideal lift for you would also require us to know more about the operation, turning areas, height restrictions and requirements, how you load and unload trucks (dock height? side of truck or back of truck?).
I would say that whatever lift you get, be sure to get an optional (up high, mounted on the overhead guard) air intake dirt separator and at least a 2 stage air filter that you keep clean and change often. it may be a pain, but it amazing how little fine dirt it takes to really screwup a motor.
if money was "no object" I would most likely point you to an Omegalift or Linde, but I would expect you to get the most value from a pnuematic "heart of the line" from Mitsupillar or Catibishi. Give Paul Moore from RIngpower in Miami a call (305-696-3500) and see what he can do for you, I know he used to do a lot of business exporting to Mitsubishi forklift products to Jamaica.
