this is particular to the make, model and serial number of the truck. some [most] need to be done with a handset. do you have an ev100lx handset?

The only way to know if 1a is pulling in is to hear the click of the contactor, in ev100 there is very little added power during 1a, and the controller still pulses with about 95% on time.
if 1a does not work, you may get overheating of the controller on high speed long run operations (with high ambient temperatures)
