My Toyota Pallet jack 8HBW23, was looked at by tech support that said the batteries were bad and that was an issue. Even though it has sat for over a month with the same problem. But OK, I replaced the batteries with brand new batteries the following day. It still doesn't work.

The amber light on the controller flashes every couple seconds like it suppose to. Turning it on, the screen display shows what it should and then it beeps once like it's suppose to. At this point I should be able to hit 1 and then the green button to unlock and it should beep and turn the green LED on, but that step doesn't work. No beep or anything else.

I can see the LED work on the tiller as I go up/down correctly. I don't know where to go from here. It doesn't move, it doesn't honk the horn. It doesn't seem to unlock. I'm at a loss as to what to check now.

Fact of the week
According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
