I've got a new to me, Toyota electric forklift (model 5FBE18) and it has a flashing C0 code as soon as I turn the key and it does not matter if it is in neutral, forward or reverse.

The dash shows the battery is getting low on charge, but there are three bars left.

It looks like the seat switch and park brake switch have been hot-wired, but all the other connections look like they have not been monkeyed with.

I jacked up the front of the lift and when I manually engage the forward or reverse contactor (MFL or MFR), the drive wheels turn at a high rate of RPM independent of the throttle pedal, but they sound smooth and quiet.

I'm guessing it has a problem on the controller board...does this sound right?

Any help is appreciated.

When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
