Ya need to have a serial number - they were stamped on the frame forgot the location (seem to think it was on the left hand frame rail under the floor plat - hand stamped with a die set and smalm 2 pound sledge hammer, But when i joined AC back in late 1967 - their fork lifts look like that, (called the waterfall look) except with an Overhead Guard - unless the customer/dealer didn't want it. Then OSHA came in 1969..

PS parts are hard to find - AC made a high percentage of the truck, axles, manual trans, driving/steering axles, masts, frames, did heat treating etc. But in the end they died the death of a rag doll..
