Hi all!
I'm writing from Halifax in the UK.
I am genuinely devastated as my lovely Hyster S3.00XL has developed a massive problem. I think it is an A187 with Isuzu gas engine.
I was hoping someone on here could advise in any way.

It has been occasionally slow to go into forward or reverse for the last year but not massively so. But today, it just wouldn't go into reverse and the neutral was like the forward gear amd the forward was working as forward as usual. When putting into reverse it just won't go and we tried to pull it with another forklift but the wheels wouldn't turn!
Come to think of it, on 2 occasions, it went into reverse and started shaking. But then worked normally. I don't know what's happened to it. Sob.

I love Mr Forks, he is very narrow, very small and has an immaculate 3 stage mast and it can handle 3 tonnes.
It's a gas one and has run so reliably for our little operation in Yorkshire.

I would REALLY hate to scrap it and if someone locally could have a look or attempt a repair I would obviously pay good money for it.

Here's hoping some kind people can save this beauty from the scrappers!
