Hi guys, forklift only drives in reverse, even when in neutral it still has reverse "drag" on the wheels, you can't stop it driving reverse when in neutral, put it into forward and it does nothing.

Checked direction switch, wiring, replaced forward/reverse solenoid but still wants to drive in reverse even when in neutral, I'm thinking the reverse clutch pack is locking up for some reason?

If I start the truck in neutral and release the park brake she spins like crazy straight into reverse, disconnecting the direction solenoid makes no difference, she still goes in reverse.

I've noticed when you reconnect the solenoid when in neutral although it does drive in reverse I'd say it's more of a drag rather than a drive, it's definitely noticeable when you do select reverse as it wants to drive hard like it should whereas when in neutral it's a slow drag but non the less you can't stop it, select forward and it does nothing at all, as though you've selected neutral as opposed to forward but I'm thinking the only reason it does this is because both clutch packs are now pressurized and cancelling each other out?

Any suggestions before I dive in and pull the trans?

The black box flight recorder was invented by Australian scientist David Warren in the mid-1950s. While initially met with indifference in Australia, his invention gained international recognition, particularly in the UK, and is now a mandatory piece of safety equipment on all commercial aircraft.
