Forklift has had on problems. Been using all day but got on and started it would not move. Does not even bump into forward or reverse. Wheels are locked up even in neutral.
Trans oil full, red and no burn odor. Linkage is moving on trans. but no engagement feel. Parking brake is free and not engaged.
Drove up and turned off then got back on and started and no movement.
Even if linkage would have come off in trans it should roll.
No sounds like stripped or broken shaft in trans or diff.
Took off top cover valve body and found snap ring came out of drum and piston blew out of drum causing no pressure.
Does anyone know what comes apart from trans to differential?
Can they be split apart and leave differential in forklift?

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
