I have a 2007 Genie 2668 RT that is experiencing some tilt sensor problems. Long story short it had some other issues which I worked through but it can be on the slightest incline and the tilt sensor will kick in and let you only lift 5-6 ft. I adjusted it on my level shop floor but it that hasn't cleared the problem. Could it be a bad sensor, or ECM/ECU, or a calibration issue? Help would be appreciated. Most Genie (factory techs) have a whole grocery list of things that could be it but none of what has been suggested works. The first issue was a partially broken wire in the connection of the tilt sensor and no one ever suggested that. I need someone with practical experience to weigh in on this. Many thanks in advance for any help.

It is amazing what can be accomplished when no one cares who gets the credit.
