Lift jerks and throws a code 47. The book I have for this model does not indicate a code 47. It has codes 46 and 48, but no 47. When the truck jerks it shuts everything down and throws that code 47. You can key off and back on and clear it and have all operations functional, but it will eventually do the same thing again. It can happen at any point in travel. I pulled the floor cover up and watched the traction motor when this happens and a have a good amount of sparks around the brushes.

I have found a few loose connections that I have tightened up thinking that may have been the issue, but it still happens. I did notice that the traction motor brushes are close to needing changed out.

any ideas?
