Hi,

I recently acquired an old Hyster. Nameplate is tough to read but model is H50F (I am unsure of the F or if anything follows). S/N stamped on the frame is B3T 1905R. It has a propane 4 cylinder engine of unknown manufacturer and a two speed manual shuttle transmission.

The starter failed right away and I discovered it has a wet clutch as a couple liters of oil drained out when I removed the starter. It seems like clean motor oil but I don't know.

I don't know what kind of oil to refill with, or even where to refill. It seems like the clutch/trans may share oil with the hydraulic system as there is a hose that goes between the hydraulic reservoir and the transmission. The hydraulic reservoir seems to have the same/similar oil. If I had to guess I'd say it may be 15W40.

I've no manual or any other information so any light you could shed on this for me would be much appreciated.
