Afternoon folks!

One of the lad's has a bit of a head ache with the above truck, S/No E138104GEF4510 if that's any relevance.

Anyway, it'll attempt to dive but it's pushing against the handbrake, has no hydraulics or power steering.

He say's the direction lever has three positions on it, foward/reverse and park.

He can't get the hydraulic actuated parking brake to come off hence the reason the truck will drive, but against the brake.

We assume the power steering or the hydraulic system must operate first for the brake to release??

Does this type of truck cut the power steering and hydraulics when the brake is applied?

Strange I know as it's usually the drive that would be cut off when you apply your hand brake.

We seem to think the truck just isn't seeing something, safety switch for example?

EV1 control system by the way.

Sorry it's a bit vague, I haven't seen the truck only talked about it over the phone.

Cheers lads!

The black box flight recorder was invented by Australian scientist David Warren in the mid-1950s. While initially met with indifference in Australia, his invention gained international recognition, particularly in the UK, and is now a mandatory piece of safety equipment on all commercial aircraft.
