Thanks, email is kbailey at maybury dot com. Have you tried Deoxit. I think it does a nice job of protecting the contacts. I do still use the di-electric compound, just not in all apps.
We've seen some slip-up whereas trucks have gone out the production door with nothing in the card connectiors ( EV100 ). During customer installation, we do pack them with compound.
