They have been opening up auto batts for years.Flush them out change shorted cells new acid then return to service.The major fail of batterys is junk in the lower case shorting cells out.But htat junk is cell right?So how good is a recon battery?That black painted battery at the carlot just dont seem to last long.But they only need them to last long enough for you to buy it.Some customers out there might be ok with a rebuilt batt.IE 2 to 3 hrs a day run.But the 6 to 20 hr a day customers would best buy a new one.
