I just went though this exercise with my old Toyota. The "sensor" is simply a RTD in instrumentation parlance. From my perusal of the literature the resistance vs temp for these devices, from at least 70's - 80's trucks, they are pretty much all the same. Google up and you should easily find something that will crossfit.
