Thanks for the information the year is great to know, as I suspected they had batery post wrong, as for the filter turns out to be a Wix 51760 but one end is block the one that I have is open at both ends, set up looks original who knows after 40yrs. The one you could get me is it open both ends 7 1/8" long x 3" dia. x 1" hole both ends as the bolt holding the filter body goes all the way throught.
