Wont move

I have a hyster when i step on pedal to go foward or reverse the wrnch lite comes and displays the #42 and does not move. After 3 to 10 seconds of holding pedal down you csn hear contactor engage and it will start moving. Anyone know what code 42 is or a direction to go as far as diagnostics
