Replaced brake master cylinder and can’t get brakes to work

Hyster H50XL

I've got a h50xl that I just replaced the brake master cylinder in. I bled the brake lines after installing the new one and the brakes do not build pressure and stop the lift. Just wondering if there's something I am missing?

first question: did you bench bleed (pre-bleed) the master cylinder before installing it? Sometimes even if you do bench bleed it air might still be in it.
if so then you might need to get a pressure bleeder.
