red warning light for brake

Warning light for right traction motor is on despite brushes are ok. How can that be? Short circute on brush rocker? I know that this can be solved by instaling resistor but dont know which one and on what pin. Help please

Thanks Dwaive. I know if you do bypass there is no wear indicator. But if you mount resistor you steal have it....

There is a connector on each motor that has 4 wires on it. Two are for thermal resistor that indicates motor temp. You will read resistance on them. The other set of wires is for the brush indicator. You must read a resistance of 0ohm or open circuit. 0 mean brushes are ok and op worn out. There is no middle reading. If so each brush has a lever under the arm spring that will come open when pushed by the lever, look at them, might be corroded. If your not so bothered just connect the two wire together to bypass the system. Remember you won't have brush wear indicator anymore on this motor.
