Discussion:
reach/tilt

Reach and tilt wont work when you first power up truck. Then something lets off and all will work.If you get high speed pump on it will work till you shut down or get off pedals.Crown said stuck valve.Replaced the whole block with one from working truck.Calibration was done with both blocks. No change. No codes. And ideals? Thanks

clean the priority flow valve in the bottom of P1
Does this truck have freezer oil? If so the pump might be worn out.
I have seen bad motor brushes do this as the module cannot sense the load on the pump. Most prolly is the worn out pump not loading the motor...

I take it your working on a 5000 series reach. RR5200 maybe?
If so the first thing I would have said would have beed a stuck SVE on the man block, but since you changed the whole block, I might say P-1. I've seen a lot of P-1 failures lately. Symptoms have been no accessory functions unless you turn on P-2 (or on 24 volt systems crank up P-1 speed) & hard steering. If your a Crown tech you know how to see what kind of pump you have ( variable or standard ). I'd put my money there. Feel free to send mod and ser #. How many hours on it?

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
