It's definitely your Relief valve.

Did yours keep lifting or did it stop?

I've just run into this same issue, but it only lifts a couple inches when reach/retract/tilt/shift and then works normally. Same or different issue?

Stam, you are very right.

I am not very expert of Hydraulics but spent hours with this valve in last 2 weeks. As per my Learning on this valve; it does not need any electrical connection for Lifting, if there is pressure POD will actuate because of excessive pressure and direct the pressure to Lifting rams. If we remove all coils from the valve it will still be able to lift. It doesn't happen in other machine.

It needs a Pilot pressure from AUX Coils to retain it to the AUX function position. If pilot pressure is there and POD is stuck or not working properly it will keep lifting the Lift rams.

Please correct me if it works differently.

Nope, pod can do this and does. You'll run across one someday. Typically it's metal caught in the valving on the 7xxx models. Usually the free lift rams shed into the system.

i don"t think this is a hyd. matter, again, on the other one you were right, but on this i think again it's electrical, could be the buttons on the handle or again the over the mast cable, check continuity on that.

Hi Max,

Thanks for your input. I services the valve by pulling all valves out and found POD had some resistance. Polished it, bleeded air and it is working fine now.
now other Raymond does the same with Tilt. When you operate Tilt button it starts lifting.

Raymond Hydraulic Valve is not one of the best designed valve which we see in Crown, BT or other leading brands.

TRY AGAIN ON THE AIR, MEAN IT LIFT ALL THE WAY AND TRY THE FUNCTIONS AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS, IF NOTHING HAPPENS, START LOWERING THE MAST AND EVERY SO AND THEN TRY AGAIN, IF IT HAPPENS, CHANGE THE OVER THE MAST CABLE.
