Discussion:
pulsing reverse

Ok so I was originally getting a 303 code. I figured that out. It was a bad charge on the battery. Now I am getting a pulsing reverse action. Forward works fine. I have pulled travel contactors and checked. I found no issues with them. I am only reading about 15 ohms on the coils though. I have checked all this with three different batteries all with the same results. Any Ideas?

Just glad to hear it was fixed. Hope you did not have a lot of time in it.

yeah I went through all of that. everything was reading fine up to the travel contactors. I just figured out the issue Friday. Another tech tried his own method of troubleshooting. He had the A1 and D2 power cables swapped. so the pulsing I was seeing was the motor trying to go forward and reverse at the same time. This was all an oversight of my own. I was digging in deeper than I should have. I should have kept it simple.

Did you check the direction switches and potentiometer? You do not say what you mean by pulsing. If it is the contactor opening and closing or the motor pulsing.
