Pallet Truck Ad on Forkliftaction.com

Has anyone checked out the AD for EP and their Maximin motorized pallet truck? Please do so if you have not, with all the hard work that we put into our training programs, making sure everyone knows the proper safety aspects of every piece of equipment that we utilize, this AD is a slap in the face to all our hard work of promoting safety. They show people riding/standing on the leg extensions of the pallet truck and one picture shows them horsing around, like they are having a party.
We as safety training professionals, trying to get across to everyone in the industry how dangerous these pieces of equipment can be, and then trying to show them the proper safety procedures to keep operators safe while operating these pieces of equipment, cannot accept this type of advertisement. Granted this piece of equipment makes the job easier, but it is NOT A TOY, and only makes the job easier if we properly use the equipment the way it was intended, and that DOES NOT INCLUDE HORSE PLAY. I would hope this company would pull this AD and be more serious and put out an AD that would promote their product in a safe and proper manner.

Found the ad. Full of miscues.

Also, she has the lift truck travelling up the ramp with her behind it. A big NO NO! Never have the pallet truck in front when travelling uphill on a ramp.

Does the company require a forklift training specialist to assist in the ad copies?

Constantly Lifting The Standard!
The one with him standing backward, pulling the control handle down, hand on twist grip, and her standing on the fork with one foot and high heels is just nuts.

Have to agree the picture gives the wrong impression. However most forklift advertisements show incorrect procedures even when the manufacturers have very good training support.
It is one of the annoying things that this industry continually supports.

Doubt if EP will change

The high heels are always suitable for warehouse applications
It keeps the toe toes above Danger height !!!!!?????

Sorry I forgot to say where the AD was, it is on the cover page off Forkliftaction.com. Please check it out and give your opinion of, what I feel, this unsafe AD.
