Discussion:
Overheating ( bubbling in expanshion tank when turned off )

Hello All,

I have a problem with a Linde H25t-03 fitted with the renault f3r engine where it is overheating and when you turn off engine there is bubbling in the expanshion tank for a couple of seconds (about 5 seconds), I have removed the Radiator and had this checked and tested and also removed the thermostat and tested this in hot water ( opened ok ),
which made me think given these tested ok that the head gasket may have failed but after doing a compression test on engine today where all readings where 100-105 PSI, I am now not sure,
Has anyone else had a fault like this and what they found ?

Regards
John
