Discussion:
One function, Single line hose reels (two independent hoses)

I have a customer with many toyoyta 7FG45 trucks with the single line 2 port style hose reels, furnished by Toyota. These are new trucks. When the Attachment Cylinders end stroke, the releif pressure in the auxillary circuit causes one hose to tighten and one to slack. The slack hose then tangles in the stock hose guide, damaging the hose. This occurs in either direction of the attachment. Just curious if anyone else has this issue and any fixes?

Check the following:
1.) Prewrap of the reel. Increase the prewrap to apply more tension to the hoses during retraction.
2.) Relief valve is on the attachment, downstream of the reel. Relocate it to upstream and relieve before the reel.
