The onboard charger has failed, any opinions on replace, rebuild or go with external, What would rebuilding entail?

A bit late but their no repair options, or rebuild. The only external ones I have seen are not made for the sealed batteries these have. I would bit the bullet and spend the money on a new one their very pricey also.
