Discussion:
Not going to full lift height

Being stumped by a newer model electric reach from Hyster. Its an AC truck. serial D470N01918E. It will not go to full lift height. Oil level is good. It reaches the same height and stops. Motor still seems to run but sounds like its possibly going into relief. If you lower it some and try to lift it back up, it will not move upwards again. Only bringing it to free-lift height will get it to go up but then again stop at the same spot. Almost like a reset. I did figure out how to browse the menu and had some help from a friendly tech. Could not find a height sensor on mast and could not locate in the truck setting menu a factory default for perhaps the auto stop for racking height. Any ideas?

No height sensor. Job was passed to a field service supervisor. May be that this unit is sensored in the lift pump. There is an electrical connector mounted to it. When he manually lowered it, the lift height maximum also lowered. Now were in the same boat and the lift raises to an even lower point. Will post updates on progress.

Does this have a fork height sensor? it will be on the left side upper corner, with a small belt.
If not you may have a problem in the handle or the lift limit is enabled
Lift Limit Without Override (N35ZDR, N45ZR, N30ZDR, N35-40ZR)
Use this setting to enable or disable the Lift Limit Without Override option. Setting the parameter to ON will enable the option, OFF will disable the option. The encoder hardware must be correctly installed along with the settings made for the free lift and lift limit heights. These settings can be made with ETACC.
