No Start

4.3 Propane. Won't start. Codes 100-3, 522740-5, and 522739-5.

Cranks but won't start, locks out and then throws the code. Disconnected battery to clear code, still no start. Changed propane tanks , same result.

Only 300 Hrs on Truck.

What you are asking for is available from your dealer. You need a wiring diagram and a service manual.

After installing new Oil Pres. switch and a no start, I began to check fuses again. I swapped relays and it started. Went to a local dealer and replaced the defective one and it runs fine. It would sure be helpful if Hyster would give out some info about what fuse or relay controls what.

yep that warranty went bye bye long ago, even the warranty you get when buying a used machine is gone so you're on your own with this one. i just thought it was worth mentioning because of the hours, glad we got that cleared up ;o)

just fyi, todays warranty's are 2yrs now with a 5yr powertrain, with some mfg's on new machines. If there is any doubt it always pays to call the dealer and have them check.

Can tell you now being that its a 2009 there wont be any warraty covergage on the truck......warratys on forklifts arent the same as on cars and trucks...at best you might get a three yr warranty but is usually way less than that...

yeah i was thinking the same thing as kevin is

UNLESS the truck is less than a year old, THEN it might be a warranty issue and yes call the dealership and have them repair it.

just call their service department, have them check the serial number to see if it is still under warranty.

the oil pressure switch is what's keeping it from starting up

but as kevin said, make sure you address the O2 sensor problem, these will effect performance

The 522739-5 and 422740-5 codes are for open circuit for the heater circuit on the oxygen sensor(s).....the 100-3 is for oil pressure switch out of rnage,high(OORH)....check wiring and fusing for oxygen sensors...also check wiring for oil pressure switch

Fact of the week
The dot-com bubble, a period of large and rapid investments in internet-based companies, peaked in 2000 and saw the Nasdaq Composite index rise by 579%. Then the bubble imploded. As the value of tech stocks plummeted, cash-strapped internet start-ups became worthless and collapsed.
