Hi, has this been resolved? I have had it before where the charger was at fault and would not turn the truck on. Replaced the charger and the truck powered up
Hi, did you find the solution to this as I'm experiencing the same issue?
Thanks. Will get our maintenance to check. The battery is the original but the truck is only just over a year old and used for about 10 minutes per day maximum. When the service engineer came originally he checked the battery and said they were OK.
Check battery voltage at terminals and also at end of power cables. Has battery been replaced recently?
A little more information. The electronics engineer felt it was an electrical surge/spike that caused the problem. Although felt that was strange on a 24V forklift.
Many thanks for any suggestions
Thank you for info. The wiring all appears OK. The control box was faulty and company wanted to charge a fortune to replace. An electronic company repaired it and as soon as we refitted we have the same issue. Any thoughts? Not sure whether the unit has gone again, but if it has must be something causing it to go?
An engineer did say that they had had problems with some of the control units a little while back where they were faulty!
Many thanks
Check wiring in Tiller head, been known to come loose.
