no fwd/rev function error code #4

crown wp2300, lift/lower functions normally, no fwd/rev. traction error code 4 present on RED LED ON CONTROLLER. brake activates when tiller is down. has new control handle installed on unit.

This is an incorrect start code. If you just replaced the control handle then most likely the directional pototentometer is not calibrated correctly. You will have to plug in the handset and calibrate the pot.
