Hello,
After changing the battery on this lift, the display no longer lights up on power up. I had engaged the manual parking brake release in order to maneuver the lift for the battery swap. When turning the key there is a short startup alarm for about 1 second (it previously lasted 4-5 seconds if I remember correctly). The parking brake alert works when off the seat. Back up alarm still sounds when putting in reverse. There is no power to anything besides lights and horn - truck doesn't move.

Event code -45 on an SC4000 means the traction motor armature did not turn on/receive power.
What is the serial number for the unit?
I was moving wires around looking for anything broken or damaged running along drivers side by brake pedal and now display turns on but I only have hydros. When I apply throttle I get "-45" error. I'll check the manual when I get back.
I was mistaken -the alarm stays on indefinitely. I don't know if that changes the diagnosis or not.
I would try to replace the k1 relay on the distribution board. My guess is the beep stops when you release the key from the start position. This still allows all the lights and alarms to work, but keeps the access 1 off disabling all functions.
