Discussion:
No dash display

Hi
I've been called out to a 2016 model crown with the dual ac zapi controller in the rear.
When we turn the key, the truck makes a audible constant beep but dash display does not light up.

Ive plugged into the zapi unit and analyser shows unit powers up and no codes.
However truck is dead, just lights and horn operate.
Checked the 3 light fuses in the back next to the dual relays and battery is fine.
Can anyone share a wiring diagram or explain what usually powers up the display? Would be greatly appreciated.

Update : ive got wiring info.
Regards

Showing items 1 - 6 of 6 results.
That would be my recommendation as that would be the cheaper route.

If both relays are clicking and stay active then the module does have power. To update software you would need a laptop with a can converter and the correct software to flash the modules. Even if you replace the access 1 you still will need to flash software. Unfortunately it can not be done through the zapi controller.

Both relays are clicking in. If software mismatch can i reset this through the zapi?

This trucks display is the access 1 module. If it does beep that means the access 1 is getting power and recognizes the truck has keyed on. If the display is blank, either there is a software mismatch between all the modules, or there is an internal issue within the access 1 module.
You can test your k1 relay in the distribution board to ensure it is getting full voltage.
With no codes in the history, it leads me to believe your access 1 module has an issue and needs to be replaced.
