Discussion:
NO BATTERY LIFE

Hi gentlemen:

I have a wierd one here.
My customer bought this unit from another dealer. It was originally a 36V unit and the dealer "converted" it to a 48V system.
The customer says that the unit never ran for more than 2-3 hrs before it stopped and needed to be recharged. The dealer told him it needed a new battery. They put one in. Same thing. They put in a 3rd battery. Still the same thing.
The customer is very disatisfied with the other dealer and now I have to deal with it.
The unit has a GE EV100 SCR controller, card IC3645EVLXCD1 FK
I have tried a few of the settings but that does not seem to be working.
The charger is not the issue as he uses it to charge another unit with no problems.

ANy ideas?

You will need the handset or laptop program to set the battery setting in the ev100LX logics card, correctly. if you do not have one, you will need to get someone that does.
Your assumption about the charger does not make sense to me. just because it charges some other unit does not mean automatically that it is the correct charger for this unit.
Check all the batteries under load for voltage loss under load. don't assume.
