I saw a new NISSAN W1F4A35U machine when i was looking around i was unable to see a hydraulic filter or transmission filter. like the engine oil filer those were not to be seen,
do they come with only a return strain filter that is mounted in side the transmission and hydraulic system ? what is the filter replacing period ?
i am not very familiar with Forklifts dont no if this is a common system that you place filter inside the transmission.

Thank you for the information, very helpful.
Transmission, Hydraulic and Differential fluids are all changed every 2000 hours. We remove and clean the transmission strainer, replace the gasket then replace strainer every 3rd trans. service. Hydraulic filters and strainers get changed every fluid service.
forklift transmissions can be considerably different than automotive transmissions, and some do only use a strainer or 2 in the lines. and it is not "rare" to find an in-tank return line filter in the hydraulic system
