Unicarriers (& Nissan) FG003:
Nissan FG003 -Need to know what this part is and what id does

I am trying to help a friend identify a part on his old Nissan FG003 forklift. It is belt driven device that has linkage to the carburetor. I do have a picture but not sure how to attach here.
