FE42, CAN bus 2 communication error between FPS and travel
converter
The FPS is not receiving any data from the travel converter. The main contactor K1 is
opened.
Check that the CAN bus 2 wiring and bus terminal are correct (see "CAN bus, Bus
structure CAN 2").
If the CAN bus is OK, the converter must be replaced. To test whether the converter is the
problem in faulty bus communication, the component can be contacted directly via the
onboard diagnosis of the display (Software version query, see "Display, Onboard
diagnosis, Software version query"). If Version 0.00 appears on the display when the
query is made (see "Display, Onboard diagnosis, Error codes") the component is faulty.
Remark: (Converter to 04/2005). This error message is also issued if the 48V supply
voltage is missing at X1.1 of the converter (see "Converter, Status LED"). This
is, for example, the case when the emergency-stop button has been actuated.
This error can also be caused by an incorrect converter encoding (cf. "Converter,
converter encoding").
The monitoring processor (Ue) and the control processor (SR) in the FPS are not able to
exchange information when the vehicle is switched on or during operation.
The "Control OK" signal (SOK) from the FPS is not sent (please see "FPS, Control OK
signal"). The hydraulic functions and travel are blocked.
Replace the FPS.
Hello!
I was already on such cases (OM-Pimespo)
The key-switch was the problem. The DC/DC converter power supply was missing.
I think, first check the voltages:
- Check the power supply
-Check the DC/DC converter!! (Power supply from the keyswitch.
-Check the CAN_BUS: -Resistance measurement
If one of the CAN bus leads, CAN high or CAN low
is interrupted, this can be measured with a resistance
measurement when the truck is switched
off:
1. Resistance measurement
Correct value: 60 ohm
One lead interrupted:
120 ohm.
2. Voltage measurement CAN high
to GND
Correct value: > 2.5V <3.5V
3. Voltage measurement CAN low
to GND
Correct value: < 2.5V >1.5V
I can send a repair manual (OM-Pimespo version)
FE12, Internal buffer battery of the FPS is discharged
The operating hours cannot be stored after key-operated switch OFF/ON. As a result, the
currently last stored value is displayed. A save routine is performed appr. every 5 minutes.
The hours-run counter therefore operates with a slight degree of imprecision during
operation. Exchange the FPS / internal back-up battery (possible after expiry of the guarantee
period of FPS).
and for add info the battery indicator in display always shown empty even the real condition battery is full
