Need a Doosan Expert

Doosan GC20E serial # JZ00672 6588 hrs.
This lift will loose travel now and again. We have checked all the switches, connectors and solenoids. Replaced all of the relays with no change. Does anyone have an idea or know of a service update, Thanks.

Hey Everyone,

Have checked everything suggested and all seems to check good. Have brought the lift to the shop and found that the lift looses reverse when hot, suspect the clutch pack is bad. Can someone supply the transmission check points and pressures so I can confirm our suspicions. Thanks.

Does your unit have the Operator Sensing System, with a seat switch? Try by-passing the seat switch to see if this is causing your trouble.

That is the problem, this can happen at any time. It may work for one month with no issues then it happens again. We have gone through every scenario you can think of and cannot duplicate the problem any certain way. It is one of those problems that if are not on site when it happens it is hard to find the cause.

do you have any sort of idea what is happening just before they loose travel? are they changing directions? from rev to forward? or forward to rev? coasting? accelerate? turning left? does it only happen 15 minutes before lunch break? can they recreate the malfunction on demand?
