Discussion:
Motor Control Left Side

Hello everyone,

we have a Kalmar AC ET30AMX (se) 24051A in the shop, problem is the left drive motor is spinning up but only at 1/8 or less throttle. steer pot appears to be working correctly as the motor reverses as it is suppose to when turned but never hits full power no matter where the tires are. the controller was persumed to be faulty and was sent out for repairs, installed when it got back and the same problem is there. no codes logged that we can see through the controller light solid green. we are banging our heads here if anyone has an idea we will gladly try it..

Sorry, but never seen a Komatsu FB18M-3 with a AC controller.
Do you some more info about this controller?

I would replace the encoder bearing on the left motor. The encoder is responsible for communicating the motor speed to the controller.
