Discussion:
mast went bang from base.

Hi all, I have an early clark 2.5T with centre three stage mask. I was lifting today and it was on the 2.5t load when the mast went bang and then lowered rather fast.
The hoses are all fine but there is fluid leaking from under the mast when leaver to raise is pushed.
I dont have model but think its a c50 but not sure red red motor and side shift.
anyone have a suggestion what it may be?

cheers Shane.

You may have blown a ORB "O" ring seal on the cylinder hydraulic fitting or have cracked fitting.

Fact of the week
Fishermen in the town of Oostduinkerke on the western tip of Belgium's coast practice a 500-year-old form of shrimp fishing. Known as paardenvisser, the fishermen trawl the shallow waters on Brabant draft horses, pulling funnel-shaped nets to capture the crustaceans.
