Gradall 524C:
Lift cylinder removal and repacking

My cylinder is spewing a stream of fluid from the gland nut. I haven't done any repairs like this so I wanted to know how difficult it is, what special tricks anyone might have, what to watch out for, etc. I'm open to all advice.
