Thanks again Marc. Maybe someday I can return the favor.

Hello Joe, as far as I know there's enough space to remove the complete clutch group without putting pressure on the clutch fingers (for a diesel engine it's another matter), just make sure that the clutch release bearing has moved completly to the end.(transmission side)
Kind regards
Marc

Thanks Marc., thats good news. Anything special I should know on removing or sliding back the main shaft. Do you compress the fingers on pressure plate, thd. size of the bolts used to collapse it or do you nuts between fingers & cover plate, etc..

Thanks, liftruckman

hello Joe,
It can be done without removing the motor, just remove the cover from the transmission house. it takes about 45 minutes to remove and install a new one.
Good luck
Marc

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping it could be done by slinding the main shaft back as it has the Toyota 4P engine.

Not quite sure what you're asking but you support the trans and bell housing, remove motor, install new clutch, put motor back in, for a clutch job.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
