Toyota 7FGU32:
IGN fuse keeps blowing

The 7.5A IGN fuse keeps blowing as soon as the ignition is turned on. A multimeter indicates there is a 5 ohm resistance between the fuse and ground and continuity (dead short?) from fuse to ground. The wiring is a mess in these things and an experienced forklift tech tells me they are infamous for having wiring issues. If I pull the other fuses and check, it seems several of them have continuity to ground on the output side with good +12V on the buss side, but none of the other fuses blow. Even the 10A fuse output seems to have continuity to ground. HELP!

There might be a short circuit within the Ignition Switch Wire Harness; Positive volts and Negative volts are contacting each other and blowing that fuse.

Short Circuits are very aggravating to search for and locate.

You'll need to take a good look (if your forklift has these) at the Headlights wire harness and the Strobe Light wire harness and see if the wires have been chafing against the chassis or Overhead Guard, which of course
would cause a Short Circuit.
